The simple cake isn’t all that complicated, but once you add the frosting, the icing, and the whipped cream, you can’t help but notice that it’s incredibly easy to overcomplicate it. So much so that I have to put an asterisk next to my name when I mention it to a guest.

We love a good cake, but to be honest, we love a good cake even more when it is simple and easy to make. As it turns out, the simple cake isnt all that complicated. The ingredients are basically just flour, sugar, and butter. The recipe includes butter and egg, and the cake can be made with any of the usual cake recipes.

I’m going to make the cake at least a week in advance, so I can put some pictures of it on the fridge.

The simple 90s cake is really easy to make. It calls for only ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry, and it’s also pretty much the most versatile cake recipe we have. You can just make this out of a box, or use it as a party cake for a big dinner party.

We decided to try out a recipe from our friend and favorite cake decorator, Michael Mina, a.k.a. “Momo.” We got a few people together and we ordered the cake online. We wanted something a little more classic. So we went with a simple, classic cake recipe, but with a modern twist.
