This delicious salty mackerel was made by the fishmonger I bought this salmon from. The fishmonger was very helpful when I was in town and had me pick up my catch. I highly recommend this fishmonger.
This fishmonger was kind enough to get me half a salmon to take home, which I ate with my usual gusto. The fishmonger said it was very flavorful and that the mackerel should be eaten on its own without butter or mayonnaise. I’m not sure if this is true, but I will try it tonight.
In the trailer, there’s a nice bit of “fictionalism” as the Visionaries look a little too much like the real world for our liking. The Visionaries are depicted as being slightly evil but also a little misguided. Although it’s implied they are evil, they’ve actually got a pretty good reason for their behavior. You may recall they used to have a lot of influence over society. But then their leader, Blackman, was murdered by his own people.
When you think of the Visionaries, the first thing that comes to mind for me is the same idea as the salted mackerel. You see their faces and you think: “What in the hells is going on here?” The Visionaries are a group of people who are very powerful and well-positioned to bring about a revolution for the better.
Like salted mackerel, Blackman was an auteur of sorts. He was the guy who made the first game about the Visionaries, but he took the reins from the other guy and made the game into a massive mess. The other guy was the man who started the whole mess, Blackman. It was like he had a giant hand in every decision.
You could see Blackman’s hand in Deathloop. It’s not just that the game is about the Visionaries; it’s also that every decision they make is based on how they want to make the world a better place. They don’t mind when things suck, they don’t mind when they make the world a better place, but it isn’t until they get their hands on the power that they realize how much they need that power.
Blackman is a genius, but a very bad one at the same time. He knows how to make the world better for himself, but he can’t handle the responsibility and responsibility of the job. He wants to get rich quick, and he will do anything to achieve that. Even though he knows a lot of other smarts, he is very out of touch with the power he has. He has no idea what he is doing.
I’m sorry salted mackerel, but your idea of a better world isnt going to save your ass. The only thing you are going to be able to do is get your hands on some power and then find a way to hide from the consequences of your actions. I am not telling you to never do what you are doing, just that you should not be messing with things that you dont know how to handle.
There is something to be said for a smart, cynical, amoral, and dangerous protagonist. You can have him on your team, but you will NEVER be able to trust him. He is not in control of anything, and you will continue to be at the mercy of whatever random person you encounter. The problem is that salted mackerel is too smart for that. He has no idea what he is doing, and so he will continue to do whatever it is that he does.
