I love romesco vegetables. This is a technique that I use to season my vegetables, which I then use to season my pasta. I use a mix of ingredients called “risotto rice” to season my pasta, and then mix in fresh vegetables for color and flavor.
Romesco is a technique similar to the way you season a dish with your spices. You toss a lot of fresh spices and herbs into your pan and then cook the vegetables all in one boil. This recipe uses a mixture of fresh herbs and spices – parsley, onion, garlic, and oregano are a few I’ve seen around on the Internet – all mixed in with some fresh vegetables.
One of the benefits of risotto rice is that it is a healthy way to get the right nutrients in your meals, plus the taste it imparts is also healthy. As for the vegetables, I love the taste of romesco, especially the new ones I found recently in the grocery store. I especially love the new ones I found with the new ingredient packs called “dried”.
These guys look great in a bowl, or on top of a pizza.
The new Romesco veggies are a great addition to any meal. They’re also more affordable than regular romesco vegetables because they are only available in powdered form.
I have to admit that for some veggies, like the new romesco, I am getting a little scared. But it only takes one too many of these vegetables in the fridge to make me very, very hungry.
