I like this pie. It is one of those flavors that I think people tend to like and don’t think about. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a dessert that’s not too sweet, but is rather a bit tart. It’s not a fruit pie, but one of those desserts that doesn’t really have that much flavor, but is still pretty good.

I’ve never been a fan of the rhubarb pie, mostly because of the way that it makes me feel. That is, I’m always excited about having something that doesn’t remind me of a jar of rhubarb but that tastes good. Its also a pie with a very strong sweet/sour taste profile, which is hard to pull off successfully when you have something that tastes like it was made in a bakery.
