It is easier to just buy grits at your local grocery store, but I think you have to be careful if you order them online in the first place. They tend to be a bit chalky, which can be a bit annoying if you don’t like chalky grits. But, if you can find them at a grocery store, I think you’re much more likely to enjoy them.

I think grits are a bit bland because they are usually just seasoned with salt and pepper, but you can actually make them a bit more interesting by adding spices and some sort of meat in them. You can also add some sort of meat in them if you want a bit of a dish that will stand out.
