The color green is synonymous with summer. It’s the color of growth, renewal, and the promise of new beginnings. It’s also the color of the season’s most popular vegetable, peaches. I’m not exactly sure why, but that’s the one thing I’ve been wearing all summer long.
The first time I was introduced to peaches, I was in high school. I was sitting in a very small room talking to a very large orange tabby cat in a very small room. I was telling her about the summer.
