The first time I tried gnocchi I was intimidated and just didn’t have the patience to put what I was about to eat into such a small amount of space. It was pretty easy though, and after that, it was a staple in every kitchen I worked in. My husband always wanted to make it for me but he was always short on the time and had to rush.
Well you can’t be choosy. I am always happy to eat the brussel sprouts that I am given. If I don’t have these fresh from the garden, I will make my own.
When I first started making them, I didn’t think I could do it. I made them on a Sunday night after a good night out with the kids (and of course, when in doubt, I always go with the kids). However, there’s no doubt that I have mastered the art of making gnocchi. You can always count on them to be delicious with a little extra sauce, and they are quite easy to put together and to handle.
My girlfriend is the only one that has ever made gnocchi, so I know shes got a thing for these. They are not the most traditional of gnocchi recipes, but they are good.

The sauce can be made with any kind of meat: venison, chicken, steak, even tofu, but I like it best with beef.
The best part: it’s so easy to make. Just get a bunch of veggies and meat and chop them up into bite size pieces and throw them into a blender with some cheese. Add a tablespoon of butter and a dash of salt and you’re good to go. Add water if you need to, and keep adding until the mixture is thick enough to stand, but not so thick that the veggies are wilted.
Brussel sprouts are a great way to use up all the veggie scraps you’ve got. You can make gnocchi out of any veggies you feel like, and the sauce can be made a day before you want to eat it. I love the texture of them, and they’re so easy to prep.
It’s hard to describe the pleasure of gnocchi because it’s so much fun and tastes so good, but I can say it’s pretty dang good. It’s a great way to use up the last of your veggies, and it’s an even better way to use up the last of your cheese.
Its hard to say how much enjoyment there is in gnocchi, but I do know that gnocchi brussel sprouts are a delicious dish. They are quick and easy to put together, and they taste like a salad in between bites. And they are a great way to use up your last of your cheese.
