The recipe in question is called “fried oxtails.” It’s a recipe that’s been around since the 1950’s, when it was served with a sauce that was a bit like mayo. You dip a piece of oxtail in a deep pan, then fry it. We can’t find the original recipe online, but apparently it has been around since at least the late 1950’s.
Okay, so oxtail is the name of a type of catfish used to make fried oxtails, and the sauce is called sauce oxtails. We didn’t make fried oxtails, but we did make sauce oxtails.
